Rodent Love

So, I have pet rats.  Yes ma'am, I said pet rats!  Eleven of them in total. 

Most people will get all squeamish about them, but they're very intelligent and social creatures and make the best pets, if you give them a chance!

This is them when they were itty bitty! :)

As you can see from the picture above, Rocket absolutely adores them and thinks they're "his".  He will sit by their cage for hours and guard them, and when they're out and about roaming he will follow them wherever they go.  He's their protector! ;)

They're so entertaining to watch, when they rough & tumble with each other, or climb all over the place, and they're great company - especially when they're in the mood for a little cuddle! :)
