Liebster Blog Award!

In my last post, I blogged about my 2011 Christmas Wishlist - however I have just received an early Christmas present which has put the biggest smile on my face!

This is all thanks to the lovely Miss Directions, who has nominated me for a Liebster Blog Award!  Thank you so much, Miss Directions... you have absolutely made my day with this award! :)

"Liebster" is a German word which means dearest or beloved, but it can also mean favourite.  The idea of the Liebster award is that it is given to bloggers who have less than 200 followers, all in the spirit of fostering new connections and to bring attention to these brilliant blogs! 

The rules are :

1. Thank the giver and link back to the blogger who gave it to you
2. Reveal the five blogs you have chosen and let them know by leaving a comment on their blog
3. Copy and paste the award onto your blog
4. Request that people you have sent the award to forward it on to their favourite bloggers

Step 1 is easy! Thank you so much to you, Miss Directions.  I started this little blog not expecting much at all, but to have something like this which recognises that people read and more importantly actually enjoy what you are doing means so much! :) I love reading your blog, and encourage everyone to pop in at Miss Directions to say hello!

Now time to share the love! I have to be honest, I am so new to this blogging thing I'm not actually even sure how you determine how many followers a blog has! There's a bloglovin' thing, or a Google thing, and stuff like that... what do they even mean?! So I've just taken this as Google followers?

As bad as it sounds, I can't locate some of my favourite blogs! I have only just really started working out this "followers" stuff, but when I locate them again, I will add them to here! :)
